What is the difference between the part numbers RP212, RP212-3, RP212MB and RP212MBS? Thanks.

Asked by: Tommy
Hi, Tommy! Thank you for your question. All RP212 ball assemblies are the exact same model. The RP212 can be found at any dealer that sell Delta Products. RP212-3 is exclusive to Home Depot. The RP212MBS Is a bulk kit of RP212 ball assemblies that is usually bought by contractors and plumbers to have on their truck. Best Regards, Rosanna

how do you remove the Ball Assembly after removing the Stainless Steel - Knob Handle?

Asked by: James
Thank you for your question, James! The RP212 ball assembly is held in place with the cap as well as the cam and packing. These can be removed once the water is shut off to the hot and cold water supplies below the counter. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/26966_v1.pdf Best regards, Edward

Does the ball assembly (RP212) include new seats and springs or must those be ordered separately?

Asked by: Linda
Hi Linda, Thank you for your question. The RP212 is just for the ball assembly. The RP4993 seats and springs need to be ordered separately. Thanks, Dave

is there a lever handle to replace ball on rp212?

Asked by: al
Hi Al, Thank you for question! For your lavatory sink faucets, you will first need a RP20111 conversion ball. You can then attach a RP17443 Chrome lever handle to the RP20111 conversion ball. If the knob handle on your shower faucet lifts up to turn on the water, then you will also need a RP20111 conversion ball and a RP17443 Chrome lever handle. If the knob handle just turns counter-clockwise to turn on the water, then you will only need to order a H79 Chrome lever handle. Best regards, Brandis

I have an older diamond V RP212 shower stem. Shower is in pristine condition so I only want to update the handle. Does Delta make an insert that would fit on a diamond V stem, that would fit the newer Delta handles.
