New faceplate

What faceplates fit this shower valve?
Asked by: Mark
Hi Mark, Thank you for your question. Shower faucets that use a ball assembly are in the 600 series. If your unit does not have a push-button diverter it will take the RP5883 escutcheon plate. http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp5883.html If it does have a push-button diverter, use RP6046. http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp6046.html Best regards, Jon

I have the rp212 already. How do I remove the old part.

Asked by: Franklin
Hi Franklin, thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! To do any maintenance on your valve that carries RP212, you will need a towel, philips screw driver, and a strap wrench. Please shut off water supplies. This will be the same as removing a lavatory faucet and our 600 series shower valve. 1. Remove the handle button and then use the philips screwdriver to remove the screw. 2. Pull off the handle and you will see a cap. Use the strap wrench to help remove the cap. 3. Once you have completed these steps, you are able to remove the ball assembly and seats and springs to flush. We appreciate your inquiry. Please reach out directly if you have further questions! I bought the RP212 and was very proud of the fact that I was able to dissemble and reassemble the handle, even though I had to run back and forth to the water main twice and it's 500 feet each way. Why is it still leaking under the handle?

Asked by: teresa2021
Hello teresa2021, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help you! Our Delta Faucet DELTA® Ball Assembly - Stainless Steel - Knob Handle MODEL#: RP212 is not causing the leak under the handle, it would be the seal on the cam and packing, we recommend replacing the RP3614. The RP3614 will come with seats and springs, cam and packing, O-rings, and an allen wrench for removal of parts, please see the link below. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts/product/RP3614.html Thank you for being a loyal Delta customer.
