Rated 5 out of 5 by from [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right part for the right job, just what I was looking for. I order it and in a few days it was delivered and now no more leaks. Thanks for the fast service. The thing that helped the most was I kept the information on my faucet and had the part numbers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta Set Screw Replacement Part I stopped a slow leak in my kitchen faucet with the Delta RP22934 "O" Rings and the Delta RP21463 Set Screw Replacement Part. Simple to replace and they worked - and I'm not a maintenance kind of guy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Important Part This inexpensive plastic part is very important. Do not replace spout without installing a new one, along with new "O" rings. The faucet spout could be damaged and eventually leak if this part is worn or broken.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly as ordered Exactly as ordered - what more can you ask? Fit perfectly - Easy to search and had what I needed to fix my faucet at a reasonable price

Broken part?

Leaking at the base. Is the round base of the part solid at the bottom, or does it have a break between one of the upright arms to allow for install? Mine separates at the base and I can't tell if it is cracked, or supposed to be that way. I'm going to replace the O rings for sure, but would order this if needed.
Asked by: Robert
Hi Robert, Thank you for your question. The RP21463 spout retainer is not solid all the way around the base. The split allows the spout retainer to be opened wide enough for installation or removal. Replacing the o-rings should solve your issue. Thanks, Dave

Classic 2 handle waterfall kitchen faucet (2176-LHP-H24-A24 (chrome)

The spout assembly lifts upward and off the base when I turn on the water. I have removed the aerator and also tried replacing the #2 o rings and neither one of these actions resolved the problem. On close inspection, the inside of the spout retainer ( part # RP 21463) has # 2 raised rectangular shoulders that align with the spout bonnet ( part# RP21825A). These #2 "shoulders" appear to be worn and I guess that these raised areas are intended to hold the spout in place when turning on the water? Please advise as to your opinion as to what to do to fix the problem. Thanks,
Asked by: David
Hi David, Thank you for your question. You are correct that the spout retainer helps hold the spout into place on your model 2176-LHP-H24-A24 faucet. Replacing the worn RP21463 should help solve the issue, although there is usually some movement on the hi arc spout when the water is turned on. Thanks, Dave

How do I remove the spout from the retainer ?

Asked by: Budd
Hello Budd, Thank you for your inquiry! The RP21463 spout retainer is not solid all the way around the base. It has a split that allows the spout retainer to be opened wide enough for installation or removal. To remove the retainer, slowly pry apart the bottom of the retainer to release it from the spout. Best regards, Tanya

Will this part fit on the Victorian collection kitchen faucet Model 155-WF & 156-wf series. Thank you

Asked by: Doug
Thank you for your question, Doug. Unfortunately, this will not work with the model 155-WF or 156-WF. Those models use a different size retainer that is included with the part number RP37022. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP37022 Best regards, Jon

does the spout on a mod. 174 kitchen faucet just pull off out of the retainer?

Asked by: Rich
Thank you for your question. The spout bonnet (Delta part #RP21464) would first need to be removed. At that point, the spout can then be detached from the retainer. Below is a link to the maintenance & installation guide for the 174-WHWF, which includes a parts breakdown. http://www.deltafaucet.com/customersupport/documentation/174-whwf.html?document=mi&documentIndex=0#flashWrapper

When replacing o-rings under the spout of a model 174 faucet, I have the bonnet and spout retainer off but how do I remove the spout to access rings?

Asked by: Bill
Hi Bill, Thank you for your question! Once the spout bonnet is raised and the retainer is removed the spout assembly should slide off the valve body. Best regards, Brandis

Kitchen faucet leak

Model 172 leaks around the base only when the cold water is turned on Could it be the retainer RP21463 or the o-rings
Asked by: Jim
Hi Jim, Thank you for your question. The RP21463 spout retainer should not be an issue with regard to the leak. The RP22934 o-rings would be the part that you will want to replace. Thanks, Dave
