It's funny, I have cheap soap bottles with pumps that I refill and reuse for other things that are going strong after 15 years. Surely it could be made with parts that hold up longer?

Does this have a spring inside? I have no idea of the brand of my currently broken soap dispenser, but this looks similar enough that I might just order it. My other option is to try to glue the snapped parts.

Our soap dispenser pumps has stopped working and we'd like to replace it. The tube is a bit less than 3/8' diameter and the pump assembly, less the brushed stainless steel head, is about 11" long. Will this pump fit it?

What model soap dispenser will this replace? Mine current one is not working well.

Hi Jane, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP21908 replacement pump. This is used by RP37039, RP1001, RP38671, and RP49589. Other soap dispensers may use a different pump part number. To first troubleshoot an issue with the pump, I recommend carefully soaking the head and pump in warm water. After soaking, connect the head to the pump. Place the straw end into a cup of clean, warm water and activate the pump to rinse the components out. My soap dispenser won’t pump, so I purchased a new pump & bottle from you.  Do I manually pull the old pump off of the stainless steel head, or is there some trick to removing it?  It won’t come off, and I’m afraid that I will break it.
