What is the difference between the faucet kits RP2391 and RP2389?

Where can I get a replacement HC insert for my RP2389 Delta Bathroom Sink Faucet Handle? The small plastic flanges broke off. I don't need the whole assembly just the HC insert that shows the directionality of the temperature flow - thank you.

Whats the difference between RP2389 and RP2391? Look the same do both have a diamond shaped mounting hole?

I have just replaced an RP2389 knob handle with button and screw kit in my shower stall. There is a ~2-inch x ~1/4 inch. white strip on the package sheet, and a label that says "security device enclosed". What is this for and how should it be installed?

Does Delta have a Crome handle now to replace this crystal round knob without changing out the existing knob kit?

This model has a renovation kit, however, the ball assembly would need to be replaced with the components the renovation kit includes. Are bathroom faucet knobs (1980's vintage )#RP2389 available in the smoked shade? I see that #2389 is available in a plain clear version.

Hi Linda, Thank you for your question! We apologize that the information you are searching for was not readily available. We realize that can be very frustrating and I am happy to assist you! We thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. The Delta Faucet part RP2389 Clear Knob Handle Kit - Bathroom, Basin Or Bidet can be installed by using a safety pin to remove the knob button and expose the set screw. Using a Philips head screwdriver, thread the set screw into the hole in the stem until it is secure. Then pop the button back into the handle. I installed a 2389 replacement knob on my Delta sink faucet which works fine but there is a visible crack in the plastic center piece that snaps in to cover the screw. It is a cosmetic issue but can that center piece be obtained by itself? Thanks

My double sink faucets have the clear single handle in a gold finish, are 34 years old, 4" ce and leak. Will replacing the knob solve the leaking issue? Need to retain color for matching all other Delta fixtures and am told my finish is no longer offered.
