Part number seems incorrect
For Delta faucet part number 2578LF-278, repair part number RP24097 is used for two items - "1/4Turn Stop" and "Stem Unit Assembly".
When I try to order RP24097, it comes up as the "1/4 Turn Stop". But I need the "Stem Unit Assembly"
What is the correct part number for the "Stem Unit Assembly"

Thank you for your question! The correct part number for the stem unit with the 1/4 turn stop is RP25513. You can also get the stem unit without the stop as RP24096.

How to get 2 lever handles to line up correctly 2276-LHP-H212
Hi, Mams!
Thank you for your question. On the stem unit assembly is a white, plastic crescent moon shaped part. This part can be aligned to the right of the stem. For the left side (hot side), you will want the 14" stop, RP24097, to the left of the crescent moon shaped part. For the right side (cold side), you will want the 1/4" stop, RP24097, to the right of the crescent moon shaped part. I've attached a diagram to show this illustration.

Hot water won't turn off.
I tried to replace the seat/spring on the HOT water faucet. (I have done this on the COLD water faucet before, no problem). Unfortunately, I was not sure of the POSITION of the stem unit on the HOT faucet when putting the stem unit back on. After playing around for awhile, thought I had it right, but now the HOT water won't turn off with the handle. I have new 1/4 stops - is this the problem. Can I get a diagram of how the HOT stem unit and 1/4 turn stop should be installed? Is this why the faucet won't turn off the water???
Hi Plumber in training, Thank you for your question. As you face the faucet the raised portion of the stem assembly should be to the right side on both the hot and cold sides. The 1/4 stop goes to the back on the cold side and to the front on the hot side. I have attached a picture of the correct orientation below.

Where does Part # RP24097 fit on the stem or handle?
Hi Tommy, Thank you for your question. The RP24097 1/4 stop is placed on the stem assembly. The 1/4 stop would be placed on the back of the cold water stem and the front of the hot water stem as shown on the linked image.

I replaced stems and seats on a 25 year old roman tub set with rp25513.After a couple months the faucet starts to drip. The rp 24097 1/4 turn stops seem to keep the stem plate from completely covering the seat when turned off.

I have a cassidy lever handle bath faucet I just put in. The hot lever rotates clockwise to on and the cold rotates counterclockwise to on. This makes no sense, do I have bad cartridges? Can this be fixed?
