Sorry, This Is NOT a Good Product!
I'd only had the new Hot/Cold Indicators for a week or so when one fell out of the kitchen faucet, leaving the same unattractive hole that was there when the original fell out. I cannot get it to stay in place.
I had ordered two, and the one I replaced in the bathroom faucet is still there--so far. However, both indicators were difficult to "install" (which may be because they aren't a good fit in the first place).
We've had our faucets for over 5 years, so I suppose some problems are inevitable. Still, it would have been nice if the replacement part had done what it was supposed to do in the kitchen faucet.

Hot/Cold button for Delta Kitchen faucet
Thanks for your help in finding the part I needed, I saw 1 thing that blew my mind, The guy that said how do you put it in, well it just snaps right in & you do not need glue, but some people just do not get it or know how to do do those things. I cost a lot for a little plug, but it looks as it should. Thanks for your help in this. When I need another part, I will buy it from you. Jim

The Best Service Ever
After loosing the red and blue button, I thought my faucet was trash, but I searched on the internet and within seconds, it was there. I ordered it and got it on third day with standard shipping. I was amazed that how easy was it to find on the web and how fast was it to actually get it. The best service I ever had.

Red/Blue Replacement Button
Did not look like original, which I saw on another, and (I suspect) was discarded with the (new) faucet packaging. (My plumber said , no, it was preassembled, but, then how would you know which side was red?)
Had to be glued in. It will have to do, I guess.

This is the wax cover for the set screw for the valve. Very hard to find and needed for a finished look at the sink. I was relieved to get the parts and they fit perfectly.

Will the button indicator part #RP28906 fit on the Palo model 467-DST?
My faucet did not have a hot/cold button indicator and I would like to get one for the faucet. However, the installation and repair parts list does not show one for this model. But it does show one for 472-DST and 470-WE-DST. Will the button on these models fit the 467-DST? If not, please provide the part number for the 467-DST.
Hi Susan, Thank you for your question. The RP28184 hot/cold indicator button fits the set screw that your model 467-DST handle uses.

How do you remove RP28905 (RP28906?) without destroying it?
10/25/13 Delta sent me a replacement wand and replacement cable for my (Florida) 470-DST (or 470-SS), both of which I was able to install to fix "dripping" leaks. Delta also sent me "O" rings to repair the slightly leaking base and faucet handle (not yet done, not yet opened RP3614 (A?) which looks like a standard "generic" Delta kitchen faucet repair kit - but w/o silicone tube as I think Delta also sent me with a repair kit for my leaking Delta kitchen faucet in Maine. Anyway, I can't find any instructions to remove the rubber hot/cold indicator w/o tearing it - and it seems I have to remove it to get to the (RP152?) set screw to take apart the handle to replace old parts causing the faucet leak (and perhaps reset or tighten the base...?). Please advise? Thanks!

Thank you for your question. The RP28906 button can be removed by prying it out. If you are unable to get it out by hand, you can carefully pry it using a tool with a point or blade.

Hello. Will this part (RP28906) fit the handle for obsolete kitchen faucet 300-SSWF-A, or 300-SS-DST-A?
The first answer to this question seems wrong on all counts. It's either a prank answer or the responding Delta representative was way, way off the mark. The recommended handle kit, which costs $34, is discontinued as well. Delta needs to follow up on this bad stuff. Bad for business. Waste of time and money for customers.

Hi Jon, Thank you for your question. The RP28906 is not a replacement for the RP22187, they are different dimensions. The RP22187 is still an active part and available to order online or from your local retailer or wholesaler that sells Delta products.
