Why won't my rotational limit switch rotate?

Asked by: Kathy
Hi Kathy, Thank you for your question! The rotational limit stop has teeth that fit into grooves on the handle. You should be able to pull the stop out, then set it back into the handle at the desired location (within the allowable range). Please see our How-To Video for help adjusting the RLS: https://www.deltafaucet.com/cms/render/live/en/sites/delta/home/video-gallery/video-page.html?videoId=n2_uZ7wgV1I Best regards, Jon

Is it possible to completely remove the Rotational Limit Stop?

I am about to purchase and have professionally installed the Trinsic Monitor 17 Series Tub-Shower Trim in a bathroom renovation. The comments about water not getting hot enough concern me. I am the only one who uses the tub-shower. Is it possible to remove this part and retain full function without any issues? - Thanks.
Asked by: Ed
Hi Ed, Thank you for your question. The unit is not designed to operate without the rotational limit stop for safety reasons. However, the stop can be easily adjusted to allow for full hot water. http://www.deltafaucet.com/shopping-tools/research/video-gallery/video.html?v=n2_uZ7wgV1I&cat= Best regards, Jon
