The Delta RP32522 part was exactly what I needed. Old part was worn to the point where the clip did not close firmly, resulting in very bad leak. Prior to putting the new clip on, I cleaned the valve shank (using steel wool--very fine 0000) to remove mineral deposits. Also replaced the valve shank's O-ring (which is included with the RP32522 clip). Thanks FaucetDirect!

the clip that does it all
Without this clip the faucet was useless. Finding the correct clip on your website was better than the hours spent at the local plumbing supply or big chain stores which didn't have it or needed to order it! Thanks. General Contractor Kyle. in NYC. 2009

How do I disconnect the joint this clip holds? To remove without having to cut/destroy existing pipe and/or hose.

Thank you for your question. To remove the Delta RP32522 hose clip, pull the tab straight off. This will release the connection at the hose.

Thank you for your question, wally! The RP32522 quick connect clip is pressed into the brass fitting at the end of your non-DST pullout hose to connect it to the faucet. Attach the hose by firmly pushing onto the faucet outlet at the back of the valve until it clicks. The information you are looking for is found on page 3, step 7 of the guide below.

How do I reconnect the hose to the faucet outlet. I can’t seem to get in a good position under the sink to push up to connect the hose and the outlet

Thank you for your question. The Delta RP32522 hose clip will push straight onto the end valve and hose connection. Pull down on the hose to make sure the clip is securing the connection.

I have the old quick connect clip that I need to replace
What is the O-ring included with the quick connect clip (item no. RP32522) used for? Does it go on one of the hose fittings or on the threaded pipe connected to the faucet? Do you sell that O-ring, or can you tell me its type and size?
