The Delta RP32522 part was exactly what I needed. Old part was worn to the point where the clip did not close firmly, resulting in very bad leak. Prior to putting the new clip on, I cleaned the valve shank (using steel wool--very fine 0000) to remove mineral deposits. Also replaced the valve shank's O-ring (which is included with the RP32522 clip). Thanks FaucetDirect!

I am grateful that I was able to locate and purchase the part that I needed to make the necessary repairs to my faucet without having to replace it.

the clip that does it all
Without this clip the faucet was useless. Finding the correct clip on your website was better than the hours spent at the local plumbing supply or big chain stores which didn't have it or needed to order it! Thanks. General Contractor Kyle. in NYC. 2009

I have removed the plastic clip, but the metal connector will not pull off copper fixture line. Is there a method to disconnect the metal quick connector from the fixture pipe, other than just pulling? I have pulled very hard and am afraid to damage fauce

Our Delta Faucet DELTA® Quick-Connect Clip -Pull-Out & Pull-Down Non-DST Kitchen MODEL#: RP32522 is pressed into the brass fitting at the end of your non-DST pullout hose to connect it to the faucet. Attach the hose by firmly pushing onto the faucet outlet at the back of the valve until it clicks. The information you are looking for is found on page 3, step 7 of the guide below.
