Rated 1 out of 5 by from Kit shown and matching spherical ball not here I'll use your example and state that "I ordered this kit and the spherical actuator a month ago and was hoping that I would be so happy I did....but it has not yet been delivered". The money is gone that paid for it with no product delivery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbeatable customer service I have a kitchen faucet (Delta 470SS) installed back in 2006. Developed a slight leak over a year ago -- handle/lever had to be in a particular/off-center position to prevent drips. A few weeks ago, nothing would stop the dripping. Called Delta, they were kind enough to send this repair kit as well as a new ball assy - no charge! Although intimidating at first glance, very easy to install and now faucet works/feels like new. Delta fully supported my 14 year old faucet - how is that for customer service?! I am a huge Delta advocate. I actually bought a fancy new Kohler touchless faucet to replace the Delta, but I will now return it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works! And easy to install. I have a 2004 Delta faucet, model 174-NNWF, whose handle bar started to leak when opened. I had bought a Danco repair kit, and spent an hour installing and tightening and reinstalling, but could not fix the problem. I asked customer support whether I could buy just a new handle bar, but the product is discontinued. They offered to send a repair kit, free! What the heck, I would give it another try. The kit arrived, I installed it in 10 minutes, and everything works like new. Thanks for the great service ... and I learned my lesson.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WORKS GREAT WITH ONE EXCEPTION My Kitchen Faucet (model 174) was constantly leaking at the end of the spout, even after replacing the ball and seats/springs TWICE. I contacted Delta and they sent me this kit (RP3614A) and an aerator and the leak is finally gone - YEAH, THANK YOU DELTA! A couple things to note: 1) Definitely remove the white adjusting ring on the top of the cap assembly before removing the cap. This kit won't work without removing the ring. 2) The two o-rings supplied in the kit are too big for the spout. They are approx 4cm OD and the o-rings in my spout are approx. 3cm OD. Not a big deal since my spout didn't leak at the base.

Diverter in bath tub spout leaking

Does the repair kit RP3614 include parts that can repair the diverter on the spout? The color of the whole set of fixture is no longer available from Delta. I want to keep the matching spout, and not replacing it, if I can. The spout was installed 34 years ago.
Asked by: joe
Thank you for your question. If your tub spout is leaking, the only way to repair it is to replace it. The tub spout does not break down into parts that can be replaced.

is this the repair kit for the lewiston 11926-SS-DST ?

Asked by: Cindy
Hello Cindy! Thank you for your question. The Delta single handle repair kit (rp3614) will not fit the Delta kitchen faucet model 11926-SS-DST. This faucet instead uses a cartridge (rp50587). Thanks, Antoine.

Leaving Off the Adjusting Ring on Older Models

All my faucets are from 1993 when home was built. Single Handle Kitchen (probably Model 300) looks like RP61 cam is used for repair with RP70 ball. For the single handle (Acrylic Knob) bathroom faucets and shower faucets it looks like cam is RP188. All my older faucets have the white plastic adjusting ring on the chrome bonnet/cap. Not clear in kit instructions... but I'm being told that with newer cams such as RP61 and RP188 that the white plastic adjusting ring should be discarded, even if using the ORIGINAL serrated (no wrench flats) bonnet. If using RP50 replacement bonnet, also discard adjusting ring. Newer RP1050 replacement bonnet doesn't have/need the adjusting ring.. So is it true that adjusting ring should be discarded?
Asked by: wraujr
Hi wraujr, Thank you for your question. The older versions of the RP61 and the RP188 cam and packing came as 2 separate pieces, these units used the adjusting ring if necessary to tighten down the cam. The new RP61 and RP188 cam assemblies are a 1 piece design and are thicker. If you replace the older models with the new you will want to remove the adjusting ring in the cap/bonnet. Thanks, Dave

Re - Inserting Ball ( RP212) into faucet body

When re-inserting the Ball into the Faucet body ( My faucet is Model 502 Single Handle Delta faucet using RP188 Cam Assembly ) ----Is there a PIN inside the Value Body that you need to match up with a Slot in the RP212 Ball?
Asked by: AV
Hi AV, Thank you for your question. If you have an RP212 ball, there will not be a pin in the valve. Only lever handle models (which use the RP70 ball) have a pin. Best regards, Jon

Was I sent the correct part from Delta?

I received part numbers RP70 and RP3614A to fix my leaky faucet (slow drip from spout). My instruction sheet from the purchase of my faucet, model 174SSWF, indicates the part numbers are RP70 and KP4993 for this fix. Just wanted to be sure I have the right part before beginning the repairs.

Does this work wit the 9192T-AR-DST Touch 2O kitchen faucet?

Asked by: Joe A
Thank you for your question, Joe A! The Delta RP3614 will not work with your Delta 9192T-AR-DST. The Delta RP50587 (https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP50587) does however work with the Delta 9192T-AR-DST. Best Regards, George
