Factory issues from
Missing gasket from factory
Hose was missing gasket from the factory didn't notice until signs of water damage appeared in closet. Behind the bathtub. P# RP31689 also had gouge in it from the factory. Two different leakes on same spout adapter assembly. No box store carries a replacement part for this.

Kinked in shipping for second time.
Product is of high quality, the only problem is that it was kinked in shipping. I ordered one thru warranty and it came with 3 kinks. My plumber recommended not installing it since there is no way to see if the internal hose was damaged. I tried to order another thru warranty but Delta said I had to install it first and prove it was defective. I paid for another one from Delta plus $15.00 for 2 day shipping only to receive another kinked one. I ordered one from Amazon and it came without kinks. I have always gotten great service from Delta and will continue to use their products but they need to fix the shipping process for this product. You can't coil it up in a small plastic bag and expect it not to kink. I will be returning the one I paid for from Delta.

I have a Roman tub, flow is low thru the hand sprayer since original install in 2007. Leader hose is obviously too restrictive, 1/8 inch ID, sprays 2 feet. Is there a brass adapter to eliminate leader hose? Why a leader hose anyway?

What is the difference between the Leader Hose Roman Tub R4700 model #RP40667 and Hose & Gaskets Roman Tub R4700 model #RP40664? Are they the same thing, are they interchangable or are they for different things?

Thank you for your question, I would be happy to help you.
The RP40667 and the RP40664 have different fittings, they have to be installed to the correct connection. The RP40667 attached to the spout rough and the hand shower hose which is the RP40664. Lastly the RP40664 attached to the Leader hose and then to the hand shower.
