does the hand piece base also include the black plastic insert that acts as a cradle for the hand shower as well as attaches the base to the tub

broke the black plastic insert and no longer am able to cradle the hand shower

Hi Rick, Thank you for your question! The RP41505 is only the decorative base.The part you are referring to is the nest. You will need to order the RP40665 nest separately. Best regards, brandis

I have the outside ring, but it was glued to the tub. I need the piece that connects to the tub that the top is turned to secure to black base

Inside Diameter

Could you tell me the inside diameter of the threaded part of this trim and also the top hole where the mount for the hand shower comes through? Thanks

Hi Beau, Thank you for your question. The thread size on the RP41505CZ escutcheon is 2-1/4"-20. The diameter of the opening where the handshower mounts is 1.24". Thanks, Dave

Will this replace the standard out of the box kit? DELTA T4753 POLISHED CROME. The one that came with it I cannot screw on due to size and square of cap
