How do you remove the spout and replace the o-ring RP20049 in a 21902-LF kitchen faucet?

Asked by: Rbrent
Hi Rbrent, Thank you for your question. The spout o-ring of the Delta Lewiston Kitchen 21902LF-SS model can be accessed by simply unscrewing (counterclockwise) the spout, from the base. Best regards, Tanya

O-Ring RP44648

On Amazon part RP44648 looks nothing like this part. Are there 2 parts with this number? If I order from Amazon will I get the right part? Here is the link. http://www.amazon.com/Delta-Faucet-RP44648-Palo-O-Ring/dp/B000UB26R4

Hi KenH, Thank you for your question! The RP44648 O-ring shown on Amazon website should be the same. The package should include one O-ring. Best regards, Brandis

how do you change o-ring pull-out part rp44648. especially, " The hub of the faucet will then need to be pulled up off the counter,"

Asked by: shus
Hi Shus, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you. The first step to removing the Delta RP44648 o-ring is turning the water off to the entire unit from the supplies below the counter. The second step is to place the handle in the "On" position to drain any remaining water. Remove the wand, handle, cap, or bonnet nut, then the valve assembly cartridge. The hub of the faucet will then need to be pulled up off the counter to let the hose slip down below the counter. The hub is the base of the spout that connects near the counter. If it is hard to remove we recommend soaking it with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for 15-30 minutes. Simply pry the old o-ring off the valve, clean the valve of any remaining debris then slide the new o-ring over the valve and into the groove. Below is a link to a model that uses this part for reference. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-K-4353-DST%20Rev%20B.pdf Please reach out with further questions! Why is the price set at over $8 for a basic o-ring that is a part which a consumable (x2) regaurding the pull out handle? Ridiculous , outrageous and a deciding factor to never buy anything "Delta" because of it.

How to replace rp44648 palo oring

Asked by: jr549
Hi jr549, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP44648. This o-ring is replaced by turning off the water supplies, removing the handle, and pulling the faucet hub up and off of the valve. If your faucet model has a pull-out hose, it can be disconnected under the sink and then pulled out of the faucet above the sink. See the parts diagram here for more information: https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-K-4353-DST%20Rev%20C.pdf Please reach out if you have any additional questions! The O-ring at the base of my Delta 16953-dst kitchen sink faucet has snapped. I'm not sure of the part number of the o-ring.. If I purchase it, will it come with instructions on how to replace the broken o-ring?

Asked by: Ken H
Hi Ken! Thank you for your question and we are happy to help. The Delta RP44648 will need the manual for the 16953-DST which can be viewed in the link below: https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/106557%20Rev%20E.pdf With any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us again.
