If the debris screen remains installed in the valve while soldering, isn't there a chance it will be melted by the heat?

in the installation instructions i see where the screen is replaced for soldering. I don't see where it is reinstalled. Is it discarded? part RP46077
Thank you for your quesiton. Delta Faucet model # RP46077 is left in during soldering and while flushing the lines. After flushing the lines, it is removed and discarded.
