CARACTERÍSTICAS DEL PRODUCTO
The TempAssure® thermostatic cartridge allow precise control of your shower temperature. The cartridge functions like a thermostat to precisely measure and control the water temperature. All Delta® tub and shower faucets are engineered to keep the water temperature within a safe ±3.6° F (±1.7° C)*. Delta thermostatic tub and shower faucets are built with TempAssure® valves. The valve features an adjustable handle limit stop that, when properly set, helps ensure the handle cannot be turned to a position that is too hot for comfort. *Requiere que la temperatura del agua de entrada se haya establecido correctamente. Puede requerir un ajuste según la estación.
  • TempAssure® dual-function thermostatic cartridge.
  • Use with MultiChoice® 17T Series trim produced after March 2016
  • Permite tener controles diferentes para el volumen y la temperatura
  • ASSE certified (ASSE 1016)

RESEÑAS
Rated 1 out of 5 by from No hot water Having same issue as others. Water will no longer get hot. Been installed for less than 6 months. Very disappointed as these shower valves are very expensive.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute trash This is about 3 years old. Suddenly super low water pressure on the hot water side. I've taken out the outer section and cleaned the debris screens. Flushed out the lines put it all back together and still super low pressure on the hot water side. Seems like the entire cartridge needs to be replaced. Over $400 on Delta and $230 on Amazon. Are you freaking kidding me? What a crappy design. Whoever designed this crap needs to be fired.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from High price, very low quality I bought a whole new assembly including the cartridge because of the highest flow rate available. Only three years after, the cold water inlet has an issue, and given how the cartridge works, we now have a trickle or a scolding hot shower. You’d expect higher quality for the price. Alas, not so much in my case. Time to spend more money to have a functional shower.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as robust as the original Does fit and work properly now that I figured out that the original plumbing has hot and cold plumbed on wrong side. So I removed the cartridge and installed 180* upside down and it seems to be working now. Maybe a simple troubleshooting faq would be helpful on this replacement cartridge.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the same cartridge, doesn’t fit well and temp Waited a week on this to replace a 10 year old faucet that was barely running hot water. Installed this one delta sent and even though it fit it was not the same quality as original and doesn’t work properly. Amazon has the original cartridge for half the price. Good grief American companies are a disaster.....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Water Won't Get Hot Every 6 months I have to replace this cartridge because the water stops getting hot. No adjustments or flushing of the system helps. As soon as it's 6 months old, lukewarm is the best you can get, which is down right cold when you're in a shower. If you see this and have one, call Delta support. they are super friendly and helpful, but these TempAssurance Thermostatic valves are based on flawed technology.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent customer service! Called customer service because our shower head is leaking. Delta Rep was very helpful explaining what to check and what parts I might need. Saved me money because I didn’t by unnecessary parts from a big box store.

Are the 17 and 17T interchangeable? If I have 17 series in now trim and cart change I just switch out the cart to 17T without changing the trim?

Asked by: CHADLY
Hi, Thank you for your question. I do apologize for any confusion regarding your Delta product. We are happy to help! They are not interchangeable. The 17T series cartridge is longer and would require larger handles to cover it. Please contact us at 1-800-345-3358 if you have any further concerns. We are open Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM central time, and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday. Best Regards, Bethany

Hi, Rbuergel! Thank you for your question. The trim kit would have to be changed to the Delta TempAssure 17T series to use the RP47201 valve cartridge assembly. Best Regards, Rosanna

How do you get the old cartridge (RP47201) out of the sleeve after the bonnet is removed?

Asked by: Ted
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP47201 should pull out after the bonnet is removed. It is possible that it is stuck in the valve due to mineral deposits. We recommeend using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water to dissolve the mineral deposits.

I understand that replacement parts are free of charge. Is this still true?

Asked by: Richard
Hi Richard, Thank you for your question. All parts and finishes of the Delta faucet are warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns their home. Delta recommends using a professional plumber for all installation and repair. Delta will replace, FREE OF CHARGE, during the warranty period, any part or finish that proves defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service. Replacement parts may be obtained by calling 1‑800‑345‑DELTA (3358). Thanks, Dave

What is the flow rate of this Cartridge with the Delta R10000-UNBXHF? Also, is there a way to use this cartridge with the T17259-BL?

Asked by: Matt
Hi, Matt! Thank you for your question. The flow rate for the RP47201 valve cartridge assembly with the R10000-UNBXHF is 9.4 gpm at 60 PSI and 10.7 gpm at 80 PSI. The RP47201 valve cartridge assembly will not work with the T17259-BL. The correct valve cartridge assembly for the T17259-BL is RP46463. Best Regards, Rosanna
