Delta Faucet model # RP50366 is a screwdriver stop used on our valves so the user can turn the water on and off at the valve instead of turning off the water in the whole house to service the valve. We do offer ceramic cartridges for our 1300/1400 tub and shower series models. RP74236 is the model for the ceramic cartridge.

Hi SueMcMurray, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company! The RP50366 nuts lock the stems into place, they can be fully removed and replaced. Hi Dennwols, Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We are happy to help! The stops on the valve rough are only used to turn off the water for maintenance. A slow leak while off is typically caused by the rubber seats being damaged or worn. For a 14-series trim, we recommend replacing the RP4993 seats and springs in the legs of the cartridge.
