There are two tabs that will connect with the faucet body and the mounting hardware will hold both the spout and escutcheon firmly in place. We can't provide that level of detail every time as specific amounts are considered proprietary, but in general, the gaskets used can be made of one or more materials including silicone (most gaskets), synthetic rubber- EDPM, nylon or plastics.
