how long is this part?

I got 2 of these to replace some brass fixtures a few years ago. The one in the shower fits great, but in the tub/shower, the faucet seems to stick out farther from the wall (4.5" from shower wall to tip of the faucet). The trim sleeve it a little too short. I tried several times to get a longer one, but the only long one was different looking (had a smaller sleeve on one end, rather than all the same diameter). I'm not sure what to do. I can send pictures. You probably have records of your attempts to get me the right part, but I finally gave up. I'd like to see if there are any that are long enough to seal so water doesn't get back behind the wall. Thanks for your help. Kevin Burklund

Hi Kevin, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately all of the Monitor 17 series trim sleeves are the same length. The TempAssure 17T series thermostatic trim sleeve is what they tried to send you to fix the issue but tapers down at the end and will not work for you. Finally the original size trim sleeve on the 1700 series faucets are obsolete and no longer available. Repositioning the rough in valve appears to be the best solution. Thanks, Dave

will this fit a delta 600 series shower faucet ?

I believe I have a Delta model 602. It's a single crystal handle, with a diverter valve for the shower head. I'm looking for the trim sleeve and dome cap and face plate with screws and crystal handle. Looking to repair this model. Also was wondering if it Is possible to change from this chrome appearance to a stainless steel ? If so could you please reply with part numbers for both appearances?
Asked by: A.C. McLeod
Hi A.C. Mcleod, Thank you for your question! The rp50880 trim sleeve would not work for your 600 series tub/shower and none of the current trims would fit your older valve. However, we do offer a renovation kit for your 600 series part number RP54870. The kit comes with the escutcheon(face plate), screws, sleeve, dome shaped cap assembly, lever handle and internal parts. You will have to order the showerhead, shower arm, shower flange and tub spout separate. The kit is available in Chrome, Venetian bronze and Stainless Steel finish. Also, Please be aware that the escutcheon (face plate) that comes in the renovation kit does not have the hole for your push button diverter if you have one on your unit. You will have to plug off the hole with the rp2865 (plug) and order a pull up or pull down diverter tub spout. Best regards, Brandis

How do you get this part to come off?

Asked by: Laurie
Hi Laurie, Thank you for your question. The sleeve can be pulled straight off as it is only held in place by an o-ring. If it feels stuck, please try turning it back and forth as you pull. Best regards, Jon

Need an auxiliary trim ring for my T17T299-BL. Rough in valve was installed to far out into the wall.

Asked by: Osmbill1

I have a Delta T17267-SS Ara trim kit and need both the cartridge sleeve (I believe part no RP50880) and the O-ring for the sleeve. Could you tell me the O-ring part number (or dimensions of the O-ring if not available). Thanks

Asked by: Mike27
Hi Mike27, thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! The o-ring that fits our 17 series valves is RP23336. This o-ring is 2-9/64" OD x 1-55/64" ID x .139. We appreciate your inquiry. Please reach out directly if you have further questions! Best Regards, Kyra Digital Engagement Specialist
