Hello, What is the size of the hole on the plate?

Can I replace my Windemere 14 series escutcheon plate with the Vero escutcheon but still use the Windemere handle and other parts?

The Delta Faucet Windemere Escutcheon can be replaced with the Delta Faucet Vero® Escutcheon Kit - Tub & Shower In Chrome MODEL#: RP51036. You will also be able to still use the Windemere handle.

My customer wants to use a #144768 Flynn T/S valve in chrome to replace a 3 valve system and not replace any tile, will this #RP51036 plate work with the Flynn valve. Also how does it mount I see no holes for screws.
