Make sure you understand what this is before purchasing!
As the item description states, this allows the handshower to be much farther away from the tub filler. It DOES NOT extend the handshower itself. The fitting where the handshower connects to this leader hose does not fit through the docking port.
It WORKS GREAT if you need farther rough-in distance. If you only want a longer hose for your handshower, this IS NOT what you want.

Perfect for my needs.
Just what I needed. Hose included with Roman tub hand held spout was laughably short. This allows me to reach the far end of the tub.

Didn't fit my brizo faucet and leaked. Waste of money
I bought this to go with my brizo Sopria faucet set in my tub which required a longer cable for the handheld head. What a nightmare. This did not fit and also leaked water underneath the tub. Hours on the phone with delta and no great resolution. The gasket and rubber grommet do not fit. Buyer beware.

What are the thread sizes on each end?
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet part # RP51099 has two different thread sizes. One side is 1/4 -18 and the other side is 15 X 1MM.

Why does one side have a gasket and other doesn't?

Thank you for your question regarding our Delta Faucet RP51099. Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We will be happy to assist you in resolving this issue as quickly as possible.
There is a non-removable gasket in the Delta RP40667 leader hose which it connects to the spout adapter assembly only. The side where it attaches to the hand shower hose does not have a gasket because the hand shower hose provides the gasket.
