Rated 4 out of 5 by from low water flow We had this faucet installed 6 years ago and it has worked just fine. The problem we have is hard water. We have cleaned the filter numerous times after dealing with low water flow. We are now soaking the sprayer part in vinegar to see if water flow can be improved, before spending so much to replace the part.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sprayer drips I've had this faucet for awhile since we remodeled our kitchen. The sprayer drips out of the side when it is on spy and and water gets all over the place. Now I see a replacement sprayer to be so expensive when I paid over $300 for the faucet in the first place. One reason I went with Delta was for their lifetime warranty but I don't know how good that even is anymore.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice idea Poor execution We chose this faucet when we built our home 4 years ago. The kitchen faucet worked well for about a year then things got weird. On Spray, one jet shoots out sideways, making a mess. On stream, the jet that shoots sideways has a small trickle going on its own. I have cleaned it with hot water and vinegar, but no luck. Thought about replacing the the spray head, but the price is nuts.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a great delta product. Spray always stuck in both stream and spray. Now the flow is poor from this part!! Part is clogged. Unable to access internally to clean. (not the valve assem.- this part!. Price to replace this is just plain stupid!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Completely asinine that this part is $185.00 We had this faucet installed when we built our new house. It's been a piece of junk since day one.

Can the aerator be removed?

Asked by: Jackie
Hi, Jackie! Thank you for your question. The Delta RP51480 sprayer assembly aerator is removeable. To remove the RP50815 aerator, use the aerator wrench, RP52217. Here are links to these parts: https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP50815 https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP52217 Best Regards, Rosanna

How do you disassemble to clean for low flow?

Asked by: Matt
Hi Matt, Thank you for your question. Your faucet would have came with a small blue T-shaped wrench that will allow you to remove the aerator from the RP51480 wand assembly. Check the supply lines under the sink for the wrench as it can clip onto the pex supply lines. If you need the wrench it can be ordered as part of RP50815. http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp50815.html You can soak the wand assembly in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water to help clean the mineral build up, be sure to rinse when done. Thanks, Dave Thanks, Dave

How does this come apart for cleaning?

Asked by: Gary6557
Thank you for your question, Gary6557! A Delta wand is not designed to be taken apart and does not have any repair parts available. It can be removed from the pull down hose to check the debris screen on the back for sediment. Please contact us directly if you have questions or need further assistance with this part. Best regards, Edward

How do I install the sprayer assembly with hose?

I received a new RP51480SP replacement for a leak that I am having. I turned off the water, took the clip off between the hose assembly and water line, and removed the old one. When I try to put the new one through the faucet surround it gets stuck around the area where the "friction spacer" is. How do I get the new hose to go all the way down?
Asked by: Zack
Dear Zack, Thank you for your question. To install the hose assembly, you make need to remove the spout arm from your faucet body, then install the hose through the spout and then down the faucet body opening. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-K-9178-DST.pdf Best regards, Tanya

What size O-rings inside

After about 1 year of use, I soaked the wand assembly in a vinegar solution to remove buildup, and after that, the spray select mechanism has started to fail. When i press the button to select spray, some water still drips out the aerator. When I press the button for the aerator, some water still drips out the spray ports. I believe replacing the o-rings on the spray select mechanism inside this assembly would help, but i need to know the part number or specs of the o-ring. Thanks.

Hi Sean, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately we do not offer the internal components of the 51480SS wand assembly as separate items. The entire wand will need to be replaced. Thanks, Dave

Need a replacement wrench to fix this item

When the plumber installed my Delta faucet, he neglected to give me the " small blue T-shaped wrench that will allow you to remove the aerator from the RP51480 wand assembly". I would like to acquire a replacement wrench so that I can clean the screens.
Asked by: Ray
Hi Ray, Thank you for your question. The wrench for the RP51480SS wand assembly is available to order as part of RP50815. Thanks, Dave
