Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Same issues as others have stated! The faucet clogs frequently has to be cleaned with a vinegar solution. Mine also rusted, after which the entire faucet had to be replaced!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This faucet is terrible. I had this faucet and all of a sudden no water pressure. Have been dealing with this for over a week. I'm soaking it in vinger and water like I seen on here to do. I will be calling in the morning for a replacement if this does not fix it. mine is less than 1 year old. Maybe 6 months.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Low water flow I am suddenly experiencing low water flow from my faucet. It is currently soaking in 1:1 vinegar:water solution to hopefully remove the mineral deposits Otherwise the faucet works as expected

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sprayer is junk I had this faucet for over 2 years and I have been living with a spay nozzle that drips , clogs, sticks in different spray modes . I hate the way the magnet rusts the internal goose neck. I changed the magnet but it keeps falling out and not holding the nozzel. Also the touch light works but the tester will not come out unless I manually open the fauect. I am used to leaving the fauect handle in my preferred position for touch IQ and Alexa command. Why do the parts cost so much if they break?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from UGH this product is frustratingly not working! I loved this faucet initially but after about a year the water pressure is so low. I clean it regularly but no improvement. The price on the replacement is so unreasonable. I might as well buy a whole new faucet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Trouble with water flow! The faucet-spray assembly is very susceptible to clogging, drastically reducing water pressure flow, from sediment in the city water. This is the 2nd time in 3 years this has happened and no solvent cleaner including a vinegar soak will clear up the clogged faucet head. The only way to resolve is to purchase and expensive replacement.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from sprayer hose hard to get through faucet It took a couple of hours, but it works great.
Date published: 2022-07-03
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Long term maintenance issues Having learnt that this spray head needs to be soaked frequently in a vinegar solution to counter the mineral build up inside that stops it switching fully from spray to stream, I now find that the iron ring that works with the magnet to hold the head in place is susceptible to rusting (not good for a water device). This was just a nuisance for a while but now the iron has rusted away completely, so the head is no longer held in place but just dangles. Sadly, it seems the only option is to replace the complete head, which is very expensive.

We had a Delta Leland in Arctic Stainless with 2 spray settings. I replaced it with the same faucet (I thought) in Venetian Bronze. It has 3 spray settings, one of which we never use, and works terribly. Does this part have 2 or 3 settings?

What is the best way to clean the spray head after being partially plugged, significantly reducing the water fliw?

Asked by: RonLars
Hello RonLars! Thank you for your question and we are happy to help. We apologize for this information not being readily available to you. The best way to clean the Delta LELAND® Spray Assembly - Pull-Down Kitchen MODEL#: RP51480 is to soak it in a 50% warm water and 50% white vinegar solution. We also recommend flushing the valves of the faucet. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is.  Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow.   If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines.  Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water.  Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket.  Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold-water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies. With any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly. Thank you for being a loyal Delta customer. Best Regards, Carrie

Asked by: Shannan28
Hi Shannan28, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP51480. This replacement sprayer includes a replacement hose. Is there a way to dissasseble this spray head and clean it (vs. spending $185)??? I was able to extract the diffuser screan but am still having flow problems, even after soaking in CLR. I believe the issue may be inside the switch manifold.

Asked by: AdamH

I am the original owner of the house and delta plumbing fixtures. The Leland sprayer leaks spray when its turned off during regular use. I need the sprayer replaced. The plumber said it was free replacement to the original owner. Model#: RP51480RB

On a 9178 Ar-Dst, seems clogged,, do you need to replace the whole spray head ? Or is there a replacement for the aerator?

Asked by: DMcCoy
Hello DMcCoy, Thank you for your question! We apologize for your clogged wand/aerator and I am happy to assist you! Please try removing the Delta RP51480AR wand assembly from the hose, then turn the water on to check the flow through the hose itself and check for debris in the wand. Be careful not to let go of the hose with the wand removed or it may retract into the faucet. You can also soak the wand in a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution for about 1 hour to help dissolve any mineral buildup. If the issue remains, we recommend replacing the wand assembly. Please contact us back with any further questions. Best Regards, Skyler

Spray assembly doing same thing in reviews. Trickle of water independent of the main stream, causing a mess. Seems the lever that controls spray vs. stream is allowing water to come out the alternate option. Vinegar didn't help. Can anything be done?

I have a Delta Leland 9178T-SP-DST. When I pull down the the sprayer and return it, it no longer goes directly back into place. When the sprayer returns it now stops just before seating itself. I have to turn the head a little and then it sits properly.
