will this wrench remove the aerator from a delta 1959LFAR faucet

i have a dela vero 3553lf chrome bath faucet. Which aerator tool kit do I need?

Hi Roxy, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 3553LF. For recommended maintenance, if the faucet exhibits very low flow - Remove and clean the flow restrictor (RP63354). If splashing from the spout outlet: Pull out the stream straightener (RP76571) with a long nose plier. Clean the stream straightener then press it back in place into the spout. Would this  tool work on an old Delta  500 Series bathroom single handle faucet or do I just unscrew it to clean the aerator? I can’t seem to loosen it and I don’t want to harm it by trying to unscrew it too hard with pliers

Hi Eva1, Thank you for your question! The aerator for a Delta Faucet 500 series, the RP330 aerator is unscrewed by hand. If it is difficult to remove, we recommend soaking the area with 50/50 white vinegar and water to help dissolve any mineral deposits. For a 500-DST series faucet, the RP60730 wrench can be used. My Delta Tesla widespread faucet has a slow flow.  How do I remove the aerator to clean?

Hi Dee. Thank you for your question. To remove the aerator use the key RP52217 and insert into the aerator, give it a 1/4 turn to remove. I would recommend you soak the aerator in a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution to remove all debris. Best Regard, Tammie
