Rated 1 out of 5 by from What size is it? This is a terrible nut. It is very narrow strips easily and does not do the job. If the bottom of the sink is not smooth or the hole is on the large size this nut will not secure the faucet for long. Delta should change the spout to use nut RP47423 as used on the handles. RP47423 and RP49835 are the greatest inventions since latex paint.

What is the size of the nut?

If you are using an open wrench, faucet nut wrench or faucet tool to remove/tighten the nut, what nut size would it be? 1", 1 1/4 ", etc???

What is the size of the nut for the spout? I want to ensure I have the correct sized basin wrench to tighten. I am not able to use an adjustable wrench due to the tight space under sink, hence the basin wrench. Basin wrenches come in different sizes.

What size socket fits this nut. Please don't say use and adjustable wrench. One cannot get an adjustable wrench in the space.
