RESEÑAS
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor engineered part Life-long warranty for registered buyer - single-family home use, sounds good. The very small “red-blue” insert on water supply handle was noted on installation as weak, not perfectly fitted to secure. Continued to fall out since 1st year. Multiple dislodges resulted in loss of ‘tab down drain. Cost to replace ~ $11 ….. Another example of (known) defective product not quickly & easily offered by Delta, under warranty. Hassle for consumer - obvious defect poor quality known by Delta. Minimal replacement expense - but will sway our future purchase of Delta products.

Is this the red and blue cap?

Hi not sure if this is the correct part. Have lost the red and blue cap that covers the screw - the drawing doesn't look right. Also not sure of the finish- it is not chrome - more like a brushed nickel/stainless. Thanks
Asked by: Spartan
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP53879AR is a red and blue button used to hide the set screw on kitchen faucets.

Any tips on installing button?

Asked by: doug
Hi Doug, Thank you for your question. The button should stay in place when you press it into the hole. If it doesn't, please make sure the set screw hole is clean by soaking it with a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution for about 15 minutes and wipe it using a cotton swab. Best regards, Jon

Hi Flash, Thank you for your question! You can use a fingernail or something with a point to carefully pry it out. If you use a tool, please be sure not to scratch the finish on the handle or button. Best regards, Jon

how do you remove the hot/cold button on the faucet handle to get to the setscrew

Asked by: ross
Hi Ross, Thank you for the questions. The button can be removed with either your finger nails or something small and flat like a screw driver. You just want to be very careful not to scratch up the handle. Best Regards---Beverly

I am ordering some parts for our kitchen faucet model 19922-DST and I would like to include the handle button RP53879. When I have the part up I can't seem to put it in my shopping cart. I was able to RP51502 and RP51503. I still plan to add RP50587

Asked by: Richard

Is it possible to obtain the red/blue set screw cover button for Arabella Model 19950-DST? If not, is there something else that would work to protect the set screw?Tony
