Made to break and delta lifetime warranty is a lie
The fact they sell this part should tell you that Delta's lifetime warranty is a lie. I will never buy another Delta product with their misleading lifetime warranty scam.

Flimsy construction that broke when removed
I had to replace my kitchen sink sprayer because the hose cracked. When disassembling the old hose from the supply line, this little blue clip broke. A spare was not supplied with the replacement home sprayer and Delta simply sent me to this link to purchase a new one. It seems like the least they could have done was supply an extra for an $800 faucet and an $85 replacement sprayer.

We paid to have the clip overnighted
Our brand new beautiful faucet came without this critical clip! You can’t buy this clip at a hardware store or even from a plumber. It has to come from the faucet manufacturer. We needed it quickly or else we were going to have no water in the kitchen for our Christmas gathering!

Hello, I have a delta faucet and sprayer with the setup shown in the PDF shown above. Item 2 from page 6, the diverter cap has broken into several pieces. Is this part available to purchase separately?

does the delta diverter clip snap on a certain way to hold the lines together?

Thank you for your question!
Yes, the two protruding sides of the clip slide into the grooves on the diverter valve itself. You may need to apply a bit of pressure for it to snap into place.
