Fits perfect
I went to Lowe's and everywhere else trying to find the right aerator for my faucet but when I went to the Delta faucet website they had the exact one I needed and it works great

Right part number; improper diameter on thread
All documents point to this part for faucet 1980-DST. However, the diameter of the threaded portion is slightly larger than original making it impossible to screw into place. There must be some "mismatch" somewhere.

Description said the part was medal. It turned out to be plastic. But was the correct part and arrived on time. Wish I would have known about this,site before driving all over town. Will definitely use this site again.

Wasnt the right part.
I was looking for the inside replacement parts, Aerator for the Delta victorian series. I looked up the part on the diagram on the site and that was the one it told me to order. It wasnt the right one.

can this areator RP53998 be used on a Leland model 978
Hi Handy dad,
Thank you for your question. The RP53998 has a thread size of M24x1. The model 978-DST has a thread size of M21.5x1 and will use the RP50815 aerator.
The original 978 (non-DST) does not have a removable aerator.

Is this the correct aerator for 156-RB-DST bronze?
My faucet is bronze 156-RB-DST. This aerator says chrome. Is it the correct aerator for my faucet?

Thank you for your question! Items with no finish code may default to Chrome on the website. However, this is a cache aerator, so there is no finish on the part. This is the correct aerator for your model.

Can the RP53998 aerator be installed in the Delta Zella faucet to replace the rp52216 aerator
I would like to increase the water flow from 1.5 to 2.2 gpm.
The current faucet uses a rp52216 aerator.
I would like to know if the RP53998 aerator can be installed in the Delta Zella faucet model 35706LF

We do not carry a higher gpm aerator for the 35706LF model. However, you can search locally or online for a higher gpm aerator with the same thread size. Your aerator size is M21.5x1 male.

The aerator that came with the faucet does not introduce enough air so the water splashes all around. Have you fixed the aerator since we bought it?
I am a plumber so don't bother asking me about pressure and flow because it is correct. The faucet is a D 4380T-AR-DST bought 10-4-2012. I will gladly buy this new aerator if you fixed it (or changed it) to introduce more air.
Hi Bruce, Thank you for your question. There has not been a change made to the RP53998 aerator for the model 4380T-AR-DST faucet. You may want to try a lower flow rate aerator like the 1.75gpm RP70718, or the 1.5 gpm RP60983 to reduce splashing.

Can I use in place of the rp50815

Thank you for your question. The Delta RP50815 and the RP53998 Aerator Assemblies both have the same thread size of M21.5x1-6G so they are interchangeable.

Does this areator fit the Delta 2594 faucet

Is thisthe correct aerator for 155-DST?

Thank you for your question. This is the correct part number for the 155-DST. However, based on the photo you have the pre-DST version of the model 155. The aerator for your unit is the RP37018 (or RP37018SS for brushed Stainless Steel).
