Just bought Delta Bellini 11946-SSSD-DST. Where does the foam gasket go?

Asked by: RIchard
Thank you for your question, RIchard! The adhesive side of the RP6052 gasket will attach to the counter top. Please refer to the Maintenance and Installation manual below for reference. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/X00064943_F.pdf Best regards, Edward

Does the rp6052 gasket go under the valve assembly base

Asked by: Blueman
Hi, Thank you for contacting us. We apologize for any inconvenience. We are more than happy to help you. The Gasket MODEL#: RP6052 is a set of three. There is one for the spout, one for the handle and one for the base. Please contact us if you have any further question or concerns. Best Regards, Bethany

Will this fix my leak problem?

We have the Delta 978-SS-DST Leland Single handle pull down kitchen faucet & it is about 5 years old. It has started to remain to leak a small amount from the spout even when the handle is pulled down. It can be shut off completely if you turn it back on and wiggle the handle around a little to get it to seal well when pulling it down. Will replacing this gasket better the seal when turning the faucet off?
Asked by: SCarter
Hi Scarter, Thank you for your question. You will want to replace the RP50587 valve assembly on your model 978-SS-DST faucet to stop the leak when the handle is in the off position. Replacing the RP6052 gasket will not resolve the issue. Thanks, Dave

We have a Delta 155-DST Victorian Series kitchen single handle lever faucet. Where exactly does the white gasket go?

Asked by: hlc6525
Thank you for your question, hlc6525! RP6052 can be installed between the valve body and the counter top as seen in Step 2-A, page 4 of the Maintenance and Installation manual below. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/X00064943_F.pdf Best regards, Edward

Why do these gaskets all look different ?

I am installing a delta 11946 SD-DST faucet there are 3 different gaskets in the kit - 2 with same number , RP6052 one has sticky ring , and one is white . The third gasket no number indicated looks like it goes on the soap dispenser , but it makes the case not sit flush to the counter. The directions are unclear in the picture . Please advise the placement of these gaskets, are they interchangeable ?
Asked by: Faith
Dear Faith, Thank you for your inquiry! The three gaskets are designed to be installed under the handle, spout and soap dispenser. The gasket with the adhesive/sticky side, of the Delta Gasket kit RP6052, goes under the spout assembly. One fits in the grooves on the underside of the handle sleeve assembly. The last white gasket would fit on the under of the soap dispenser base. I have included the Maintenance/Installation document, below. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/64943%20Rev%20F.pdf Best regards, Tanya

I am replacing the valv eassy on a 978-DST as it drips from the spout. I do not see a gasket RP6052 on here. Not clear what it does.

We have had a problem since day one with water leaking out from the base of the sleeve assembly. Looking at instructions, I think I need to tighten the bonnet more. Where does this gasket go, exactly. Between sleeve and counter, or between top of bonnet and sleeve?
Asked by: Gary
Dear Gary, Thank you for your question. The Delta Gasket RP6052 is designed to be installed between where the sleeve assembly meets the deck/counter/sink of the Delta Leland Pull-Down Kitchen 978-DST faucet. Best regards, Tanya

the RP6052 gasket for a Leland valve base on my unit tore and need to replace it.  Your site says the thickness is 3/16 inch.  What  are the inside and outside diameters of the gasket?

Asked by: JAMBS
Hi JAMBS, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP6052. Two gaskets are very similar, about 2" in outside diameter, although the grey one is slightly smaller and thicker. The white gasket with adhesive is the smallest at 1-3/4" outside diameter. Silicone sealant can also be used in place of the gasket. See here for more information: https://support.deltafaucet.com/s/article/RP6052-Gaskets Please reach out with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist
