The RP6068 doesn't work in the Foundations faucet. It's the exact same part as RP1723 which doesn't work either. Why Delta has the same part under two different part members is beyond me. You push it into the pop up hole, the tongs collapse and the button pops back out of the hole. Now the tongs are bent in, have lost all their spring and the button is useless. It's clear no one has ever tested either of these parts in one of their faucets. Now I have two useless buttons and the same ugly hole in my faucet. It's the little things that matter.

WILL THIS WORK ON A 3597LF
Dear Ronnie,
Thank you for your question. The Delta Plug Button RP6068 is for a lift rod cover on an escutcheon plate. This plug cover was made for an older 2500 series lavatory unit, when you were not using the lift rod on it. This plug cover will not work for the handles of your 3597LF model. The handles (H297) and button covers come in the box with the faucet.

Is this for the handles or is this for the pop-up rod?
I work for a Housing Authority and we have some two-handle Delta faucets that the pop-up rod was removed from. By HUD standards this hole must be plugged. Will this work or is there another product to do this?

Thank you for your question. This plug is for the lift rod hole and is designed to work with 2500, 2502, 2520, 2521, 2522 series faucets. It may not fit other models.

The RP6068 button has a diameter of .406 and will fit lavatory faucets with that size hole.
