Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did the job perfectly Easy to install and worked fine with the other parts

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Manufactures repair part The selection of parts and service was very good. That said, trying to match my Delta faucet and find the correct parts was somewhat difficult. This seems to be normal for Delta parts as I searched for the part to fix my faucet.

does this include the packing

Asked by: Jean
Hi, Jean! Thank you for your question. The Delta RP61 includes a redesigned cam and packing that come as one part. Best Regards, Rosanna

Just curious...The old style white cam has a tab on the left side to align with the faucet housing, and I assume prevents movement. Does the new style also have this tab?

Asked by: CaptnCliffy
Hi, CaptnCliffy! Thank you for your question. The new Delta RP61 Cam & Packing does have a small tab on the side of the part to align inside of the valve body. Best Regards, Rosanna

Does this part have the washer with the plastic liner that sit on top of the ball assembly

Asked by: mike
Hi Mike, Thank you for your question. The cam is now one assembly and will replace the two-piece cam and packing. Also, the plastic adjusting ring inside the cap is no longer required with the new Cam Assembly. Best regards, Jon

inside this piece have a plastic piece with a spring

when you buy this piece that piece have inside or we need to buy a separate, because have a leak and that piece have spring around it is off , whata I need to do thanks
Asked by: hueso
Hi Hueso, Thank you for your question. The RP61 Cam assembly used to come as 2 separate pieces called the cam and packing. It now comes as 1 piece unit that has the 2 parts together. If your cap that goes over the cam assembly still has the adjusting ring in place then the adjusting ring should be removed. Thanks, Dave

470-BS Kitchen Faucet Drips

Is this repairable for average homeowner or is it warranty issue? Any advice on what/how to repair? I got the model from delta identifier app so hopefully i was correct. Picture is attached. The faucet came with the home and is likely 10 - 15 years old. We bought home 2 years ago.
Asked by: Rick
Hi Rick, Thank you for your question. An average homeowner should be able to repair the dripping model 470-BS. As you are not the original purchaser of the faucet this is not a warranty issue. The faucet needs to have the RP4993 seats and springs replaced. Here is a link to our How to replace the seats and springs video. http://www.deltafaucet.com/tools-resources/research/video-gallery/video.html?v=O-pCJdvD4oc&cat= Thanks, Dave

When I install this Cam and Packing on my old faucets i get a small stream of water that comes out between the cam and the ball assembly. What am I doing wrong? What can I do to fix this. Its hard to find the old style 2 piece cam and packing.

Asked by: Rich
Thank you for your inquiry, Rich! The RP61 cam assembly has been redesigned; you will no longer use the adjusting ring that is currently in the top of dome shaped cap assembly (if applicable). You may need to remove and discard the adjusting ring when you install the new cam assembly. Best regards, Tanya

What is the function of RP61? We ordered part and the little spring that fits into the packing was destroyed because there were no instructions and we tried to push it in not realizing that the cam and packing separated for easy installation.

Asked by: Kath
Thank you for your question, Kath! I'm sorry for any confusion with this part. The RP61 Cam and packing assembly is not meant to separate as the original version did. This part was redesigned to be one single piece and is meant to keep pressure on the ball assembly. If you have an adjusting ring in the cap, this will need to be removed as it is no longer needed. Best regards, Edward
