is there an extension kit for this faucet

DO you have a tool to unscrew the mounting sleeve (gripping on the flat part not to mess up the threads)? DPD-R3500-WL. part number RP61822 Mounting Sleeve (2) . The mechanism is flush with the backsplash. Any recommendations?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP61822. Unfortunately, we don't have a tool for unscrewing this sleeve. The flat parts are designed for an adjustable wrench to grip.

Is there a copper alternative to the threaded adapter for the spout? Such that I could use a traditional tub spout?

Does this piece need to be removed to replace the cartridge? If so, what tool do we use to do so?
Hi Mike, thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company!
To replace your cartridge in an R3500-WL please follow the instructions below.
Depending on the trim you have, please ensure you have your allen wrenches, strap wrench, and an adjustable wrench before starting to remove parts. Please also shut your water supplies off.
1. Remove the handles with the tools you need depending on the model trim.
2. Remove the mounting sleeve, be careful not to strip the threads. There are 2 flat sides that will assist with removing this part. (RP61822)
3. Use your adjustable wrench to remove the stem unit.
