I received different looking locknuts

The two locknuts that came with my Lahara faucet model 25938 do not have the locking teeth on the inside of the nut. The inside is smooth above the threads. Are these going to lock or do I need the type as shown in your photo? I am including a photo of the nuts I received.

Hi Jan, Thank you for your question. The locknuts that came with your model 25938 faucet will work and hold down the faucet properly. They are just molded differently than the replacement RP6183 locknuts. Thanks, Dave

Need aerator for Cassidy kitchen faucet

What is the size of the nut. I was told the standard size was 1/2 inch but the faucet lines that this nut attaches to is slightly larger than that. I am thinking more like 5/8?
