when replacing the valve assembly(RP60114) how do i remove the contact assembly (RP63220). is it seperate from the Bonnet Nut (RP60275)

my faucet is Model # 19922T-SSSD-DST
Asked by: Bud
Dear Bud, Thank you for your question. To remove the Delta Contact Assembly RP63220, from your Delta Ashton kitchen faucet 19922T-SSSD-DST, you would need to first remove the cap assembly. Once the RP51502 (cap assembly) is removed the contact assembly pulls off and then you can unscrew the bonnet nut RP51503. Best regards, Tanya

How do you install the contact assembly (RP63220) for an Adison 9192T -DST touch faucet? Will this installation solve a balky on/off function of the touch feature? Brand new batteries have just been installed. Thanks, Drew

Asked by: Drew
Hi Drew, Thanks for your question regarding RP63220! This spring is needed to transmit the touch signal from the handle, touching the handle would not activate the faucet without it. The contact assembly is installed on top of the cartridge before the bonnet nut is tightened down. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or for further assistance. For delta 9192T-DST , what happens if I don't reinstall the Contact Assembly RP63220 (it binds in the valve Assembly, making it too large to tighten the cap (RP 60116)

Asked by: ednew
Hi ednew, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP63220 Contact Assembly. I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help! This spring is needed to transmit the touch signal from the handle. Touching the handle would not activate the faucet without a contact assembly. The correct contact spring for the faucet model 9192T-DST is part number RP64764. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts/product/RP64764.html Please contact us directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist
