RESEÑAS
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stick with Kohler My home is about 5 years old and this faucet has been a dissapointment (as has other Delta products). We have had problems with the pull down sprayer for about a year and a half now. I have consistently cleaned the spray area and it helped until now. The plastic fitting in the pull down head is now spraying water at the crevice where the plastic meets the metal. And the plastic hole areas are discoloring and are misshapen. I have a whole house water purifying system. I should have stuck with Kohler.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Design Worked perfectly for just over one year and then the flow rate dropped to almost nothing. Soaked in vinegar and the flow rate improved for about a week and then dropped again. Very poor design as the internals are not serviceable and the replacement part is very expensive and comes with a hose that is not needed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor design Spray nozzle clogged in less than 2 years. Poor design that it’s not cleanable and have to buy a new one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expensive replacement Ridiculous that I was unable to clean this faucet wand because the aerator is not removable. I submerged it in white vinegar just for the vinegar to get trapped in the wand along with the build up. I had a well pump replacement which ended up clogging several faucet aerators. Most were simple fixes but Delta of course makes me spend $75 for a replacement part with hose that I don’t need!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No maintenance, must buy new replacement! When sprayer is new it works great. After 7 years we noticed a lack of flow. Cannot fault the sprayer for getting clogged up, but I can fault the company for not making it cleanable. I didn’t have calcium or hard water, but a gasket had deteriorated and flowed into the nozzle. No presecreen at this unserviceable sprayer which could have filtered out small particles makes a poor design.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No Aerator Key Slots-can't clean the head This product is the only faucet I've ever seen that doesn't have a removable aerator. We have hard water and there is often mineral in our main water line. Well you can't clean this (the soaking in vinegar recommendation doesn't work). There are very similar items by other manufacturers that have slots on the sprayer for an aerator key so you can remove and clean the aerator. Only solution for a clogged head with this Delta product is to buy another replacement head (which they make you buy the sprayer hose too, which you don't need-just need a new head), which costs close to $100. This is either really poorly designed, or it is intended to force you to buy more parts.

Preguntas y respuestas

Is there a built-in filter? I have build up and didn't know if/how to take apart just the sprayer assembly. I don't think I need the whole line but want to make sure there is no build up in the sprayer assembly. Thanks!

Asked by: Mike
Thank you for your question, Mike! The wand can be unscrewed from the hose and you will find a debris screen on the back of this wand. Simply rinsing this filter will clean out any buildup. We would also recommend pointing the hose into the sink and turning the water on to a full mixed position to flush out any further deposits. Please feel free to contact us directly if you need further assistance. Best regards, Edward

the hose assembly is different than original how do i connect it

Asked by: janice
Hi Janice, Thank you for your question. The new hose should thread directly into the wand. There may be an adapter. To remove it, press the round tab and unscrew. Best regards, Jon

How do you unclog sprayer Assembly RP64069 on 9159T-DST model Kitchen sink faucet

Asked by: Kishor
Hi Kishor, Thank you for your question. To dissolve any sediment that may collect in the aerator or spray face, just soak the face of the spray assembly in a 50/50 or stronger mixture of white vinegar and tap water for 10 to 15 minutes. The large particles of debris are caught in the bottom end of the spray assembly, where it connects to the hose. Just unscrew the spray assembly from the hose assembly and flush the debris out with water from the hose. Best regards, Tanya

What is the size of the hose assmbly that attaches to this sprayer, and is there an adapter to 3/4" hose available?

I have this sprayer on my kitchen sink faucet (DPD-K-9159-DST.) I would like to be able to connect a bottle washer that uses a female 3/4" garden hose connector. There's no direct access on the sprayer itself for a thread adapter. Is there anything available to convert the hose assembly to 3/4" garden hose?
Asked by: CritZero
Hi CritZero, Thank you for your question. The hose has a thread size of .625-18. We do not make an adapter for the hose. Best regards, Jon

How do I disassemble sprayer after removing it from the hose?

I have cleaned all accessible areas and soaked the sprayer overnight in vinegar, but the flow is still very low. The spray function works well, but the regular flow function is weak. Something must be clogged within the sprayer part. Is there a way to disassemble it and clean it?
Asked by: Pam
I have replaced this RP64069AR assembly three times in three years. I finally figured I had enough pieces to take it all apart and see what the problem with the push valve was. I can tell you that there are 4 small rubber O rings in this tiny push valve. When they get worn out over time from switching from spray to solid flow, the valve fails or sticks. It's rubber on plastic and it doesn't take much due to the valves tiny size. My advice, avoid switching from spray to solid flow too often. Keeping it in one position as much as possible will lengthen the life of this faucet head.

Can the debris screen be replaced and if so how? Is there a model number for the screen? The screen in our unit completely fell apart and was thrown away before I could get specifics.

Asked by: larry
Thank you for your question. Larry! The screen/aerator of the Delta Wand Assembly RP64069 is not a removable part, the full wand assembly would need to be replaced. Please feel free to call, email, or message us on social, if there is anything else you need. can the trask sprayhead be dissassembled to clean out sand?

Asked by: Daniel
Thank you for your question, Daniel! A Delta sprayer assembly wand is not designed to be taken apart as doing so will damage the internal mechanism while voiding the warranty. You can try pouring a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water directly into the wand as well as using the Touch-Clean spray holes however if that does not help, please contact the warranty department directly for further assistance. How can I determine if my 19933T-SD-DST faucet is Stainless or Spotless Stainless?

Asked by: Collinswood

Can I replace this part myself ?

Asked by: Finolobo
Hi, Finolobo! Thank you for your question. The Delta RP64069SP Sprayer and Hose Assembly can be installed by you, the home owner. To replace, make sure the handle is in the off position. Remove the hose clip that secures the connection to the valve end under the sink. Pull the hose connection up and out from the top of the sink. The new hose connection can then be snaked back into the faucet and secured with the hose clip. Please feel free to call, email, or message us on social. Hi, as Laurie mentioned below, my button is also getting stuck and I would like to replace it. Moreover, the magnet on the main faucet got rusty so I replaced it (rp80977) but the sprayer still does not click back. Was there a magnet on the sprayer?

Asked by: Kari
Hi Kari, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP64069 replacement pull-down sprayer. For a stuck button, I recommend soaking the sprayer in 50/50 white vinegar and water. This can help remove mineral deposits that have built up and may be causing the issue. If the button is still stuck, the sprayer would need to be replaced. The sprayer does have a magnet, but any rust would typically be caused by an issue with the magnet inside the spout. If the coating is defective or damaged, the spout magnet will begin to rust. Please reach out for further assistance or with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist
