Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for replacing three hole faucets in granite... Very high quality feel to match the finish of the 9159T-DST. Recommended

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Can only be used with a three hole sink [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Delta is not clear on when this plate is required -- "thin gaged sink" is not defined. It also can only be used with a three hole sink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked great as cover for multiple faucet holes [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This piece was very easy to use as a cover for converting a multiple valve sink to a single one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from NIce The escutcheon shape and style looks great: it stands up thicker than my previous part, the edges are straight rather than eased, and the stainless steel surface looks really attractive. It matches my sink stainless steel perfectly. One thing to note for purchasers: the white piece in the picture is a stick-on seal. If you are mounting this to a sink rather than to a countertop, you will need to purchase the stabilization plate as well, part RP37490.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I expected This is not just a thin cover piece that comes with cheaper faucets in big box stores. I wanted a sink with 3 holes, because faucet styles come and go, and I'm not a big fan of the single ones...this piece allowed me to get the sink I wanted and in 5 years I can update with a new faucet configuration. And clearly still not done with the backsplash!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from cover plate This plate get very water spotted and doesn't wipe clean easily. resulting in looking bad most of the time. I would prefer a surface that is water friendly.

can this part be used with Haywood™ Single Handle Centerset Lavatory

I have an sink with 8 inch holes but only want a single handle lavatory faucet.
Asked by: bathreno
Hi Bathreno, Thank you for your question! The RP64070 escutcheon will not fit on the 15999-DST Haywood lavatory faucet. Best regards, Brandis

Is this the right part and what comes with it.

We purchased a faucet, model 9159-dst. We have three holes in the sink, and need the parts to adjust it to one hole. The instructions say we need 10 1/2" RP64070 Escutcheon, Mounting screws, gasket, nuts and washers. Is this the right part? And does it come with the other pieces, or are they separate? Thanks.
Asked by: Leslie
Thank you for your question. When you order Delta Faucet model # RP64070, it will include everything you need to mount your faucet using 3 holes instead of 1 hole.

How much clearance to backsplash is required? Images look like it will work with less than an inch.

Asked by: Jack
Thank you for your question, Jack. We recommend having a 2 1/2" clearance from the center of the mounting hole to the backsplash. That will provide enough room for installation, use, and cleaning. Best regards, Jon

The diagram for the Delta #4159-DST describes part #RP64070 as a 10.5 inch escutchen but elsewhere it is described as an 8 inch escutcheon. Which?

I am replacing a 10 inch centerset faucet and I need the escutcheon for this faucet to cover it. Will it work?
Asked by: DZR
That actual dimensions of the plate are 10.5 inch. Hole to Hole is 8 inches. So yes, this is the one you need.

I bought the Delta Trinsic Single Lavatory Faucet. I need an 8-inch plate to cover the two other faucet holes in the sink. Which is the correct Delta product to purchase? Thanks.

Asked by: Emm Dee
Hello Emm Dee, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not manufacture an 8" escutcheon plate for our Trinsic Lavatory faucets. The optional escutcheon plate for the lavatory model is 6" only. Best regards, Tanya

How do you measure the hole-to-hole 8"?

Right now the old faucet is still in place on my sink. 3 holes: if I measure from what appears to be the middle of the left hole, to the middle of the right hole, it's 8 inches. Is that rights? So this 10+" plate should cover all 3?
Asked by: Bill
Hi Bill, Thank you for your question! Your measurement is correct. You measure for center to center. So a 10" escutcheon plate should work. Best regards, Brandis
