To protect the finish of your faucet when removing parts, we recommend using a strap wrench or using a microfiber cloth underneath the wrench. In general, metal parts are usually brass (hub, handle, body, tube, fittings), zinc (escutcheon, hub, handle), or stainless steel (set screw, undercover plate). Hi Phyllis, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP64071SP. RP64071SP is the replacement cap for the faucet model 19957Z-SPSD-DST. Unfortunately, we don't carry a different cap for this faucet model. It should be able to be installed with the RP54975 o-ring.
