Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just doesn’t stay in place The tension on this isn’t strong enough. The shower just flops downward and starts spraying the floor. Same problem as Margaret described. It just doesn’t work after about a year of use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will not hold shower head in place I had this shower slide bar installed by a contractor and the shower head continually drops down instead of staying in place. It stays in place on the slide bar but the hand held drops when in the holster.

What diameter bar will this fit?

I'm planning a bathroom/shower remodel, and would like to swap out the slide bar on the Delta 57014 Chrome Hand Shower Package with an ADA compliant grab bar (such as the Delta 41724 Transitional#, which is 1.25" in diameter. Will this work? Is there a Delta #transitional style) hand shower package that includes an ADA compliant grab bar as the slide bar?
Asked by: Tim G
Hi Tim G, Thank you for your question! This mechanism fits on a 3/4" bar. If you would like a handshower mount for the 41724 grab bar you can use the U6400 slide mount, RP48769 hand shower, and a hand shower hose such as the RP64157. http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/details/u6400.html http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp48769.html http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/details/rp64157.html Best regards, Jon

How can I tighten the shower head holder on my slide mechanism?

I have a 57011 Series shower mount with a RP64152 slide mechanism. The holder for the shower head will not hold the shower head in place. I do not mean its place on the bar, that is easily tighten. The part that supports the shower head droops.
Asked by: Steve
Hi Steve, Thank you for your question. There should be a screw that holds the hand shower mount in place located in the middle of the u-shaped cradle. Tightening this screw may solve your issue. If not the RP64152 slide mechanism will need to be replaced. Thanks, Dave

The plastic piece in the center is broken

Is it possible to only replace the plastic piece in the center of this part vs. replacing the full piece for $86?
Asked by: Yolanda
Hi, Yolanda! Thank you for your question! The plastic piece in the center of the mount is unfortunately not available as a replacement part. We recommend purchasing RP64152RB, if it is needing to be replaced. Best Regards, Rosanna

How do we tighten the slide mechanism?

Just installed the 57014 wall bar hand shower unit, but can't figure out how to tighten the slide mechanism to keep the shower head from rotating right/left. Tightening the side handle only seems to affect movement up/down the bar, but doesn't keep the whole slide mechanism (and, therefore, the shower head) from turning right/left. Suggestions?
Asked by: Amy
Hi, Amy. Thank you for your question. There is not a way to tighten the mount to prevent the mount from moving side to side. The lever for the mount is only able to be tightened or loosened when you want the mount to go up or down on the slide bar. Thanks, Rosanna

The plastic inside the slide mechanism snapped off, after bumping it with my head. Is there any way I can get my hands on the plastic part? I have the warrantee tucked away somewhere, still hunting for it.
