I have a delta monitor single-bar water turn-on with a small lever that regulates the hot water. Is there a installation or user manual that explains

how to adjust it so the hot water will be hotter?

Hi Patti, Thank you for your question. Your faucet is equipped witha rotational limit stop that allows you to set the max water temperature. Monitor shower only with a broken piece directly behind the temp control knob.

Directly behind the temp control knob is a round, white, plastic piece that slides over the stem and has a small plastic tip that fits through a small hole on the temp control knob. That white piece is broken. How do I order another one?

Shower only valve replacement.

Our guest bath shower valve "Monitor" 1400 Series does not mix sufficiently hot. We bought it in 2002 or 2003 can you give me a spare part number please. Norbert

I have a Delta Monitor 1400 series tub/shower that is leaking. It is over 20 years old. What is the replacement part I need?

Do I need to turn off the main water supply before repairing. Can I get a replacement part at Lowes or Home Depot? Generic available?

Hi James, Thank you for your questions! You will need the RP19804 genuine Delta valve cartridge to resolve your issue. You will need to shut the water off to repair the unit. I have a delta monitor 1400 series shower valve. Trying to replace the cartridge but I do not see how to remove the handle. There is no set screw and the handle does not screw off. Please advise.
