I have a delta monitor single-bar water turn-on with a small lever that regulates the hot water. Is there a installation or user manual that explains

how to adjust it so the hot water will be hotter?
Asked by: patti
Hi Patti, Thank you for your question. Your faucet is equipped witha rotational limit stop that allows you to set the max water temperature. I have attached a link to the How to video to make this adjustment. Thanks, Dave http://www.deltafaucet.com/tools-resources/research/video-gallery/video.html?v=n2_uZ7wgV1I&cat=

Monitor shower only with a broken piece directly behind the temp control knob.

Directly behind the temp control knob is a round, white, plastic piece that slides over the stem and has a small plastic tip that fits through a small hole on the temp control knob. That white piece is broken. How do I order another one?
Asked by: David
Hi David, Thank you for your question. The white plastic piece pictured is part of the RP16202 temperature handle. http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp16202.html Thanks, Dave

I have a Delta Monitor 1400 series tub/shower that is leaking. It is over 20 years old. What is the replacement part I need?

Do I need to turn off the main water supply before repairing. Can I get a replacement part at Lowes or Home Depot? Generic available?
Asked by: James
Hi James, Thank you for your questions! You will need the RP19804 genuine Delta valve cartridge to resolve your issue. You will need to shut the water off to repair the unit. I have the Delta T14232 shower trim in a brand new home. The escutcheon plate has developed black streaks on it while the handle has stayed bright chrome. Is the escutcheon plate made of plastic? What do you recommend to clean the black streaks?

Asked by: nlingo
Hi Valued Customer, Thank you for your question regarding our Delta Faucet RP64602. Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We will be happy to assist you in resolving this issue as quickly as possible. The escutcheon plate is nonmetallic. Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean, soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse thoroughly with water afterward. If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All-Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All-Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use. Avoid using the following which can damage your finish: · Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner, Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. Avoid bleach-based cleaners. · Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric, and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. · Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes. Please feel free to contact us directly for technical information at 800-345-3358. We are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer.
