RESEÑAS
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ease of installation !! I removed and installed the new parts in about 15 mins., including turning the water off and back on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect replacement I read the information on my faucet and the leaking and it told me to order two parts which I found on your website. They fit perfectly and fixed the problem without the plumber.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Parts for Delta Faucet This plus the RP4993 seals fixed the leaking problem. Seals from the local big box home improvement store did not. Evidently it pays to get actual parts from the manufacturer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great part Through no fault of Delta, the hard water here was stuck to the old ball assembly & also tore up the original valve seats

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't help Leaky faucet, changed the RP70 ball and the RP4993 springs/seats, and it still leaks just as bad. There's nothing else to change!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wrong Item! This was the second of two attempts to find a replacement part for a Delta faucet, specifically the ball assembly. Unfortunately the Delta folks have modified their parts on the Delta faucet but haven't changed the number of the faucet. The 2005 version of the faucet I purchased is not the same interior parts of the current model. It would have been so much easier for Delta to change the number of the faucet - even with some added letters after the 203 or whatever. So I gave up!

My delta shower single handle faucet is dripping, what causes this?

Not sure of model # but has a part # 70 ball stem
Asked by: Darrell
I was able to use the original ball. In the rebuild kit, AT FIRST I tried the short springs, and Short washers. This Is What happened to me, drip drip drip. SO I used the short springs from the kit. And the TALL WASHERS. ! Problem solved, it has been 2 weeks and NO leaks.

Should I lubricate this assembly?

Should I lubricate this before assembly? What kind of lubricant? This is for replacement in a 172-WF "Classic Single Handle Kitchen Faucet with Spray" Thank you.
Asked by: Jim
Thank you for your question. It is not necessary to lubricate the RP70 before installing it into your Delta Faucet model # 172-WF.

I notice that my original RP70 ball has 4 round holes but the "#70 style" ball at the hardware store has only 3.

The 4th hole in the RP70 doesn't seem to line up with anything in the faucet. Any problem with the hardware store ball - besides not being genuine Delta?
Asked by: cliffn
Hi Cliffn, Thank you for your question. We cannot recommend using any other parts in our faucets beside genuine Delta Faucet parts. It does void the warranty if you use other manufacture's parts. Thanks. Jody

Replacement acrylic knob

I have a shower with this ball assembly, but the knob broke and I need a replacement. The knob is pushed down to turn off, up to turn on and left/right for hot/cold. Where can I replace it...or if it's not available, what do I need to do?
Asked by: Colleen
Hi Colleen, Thank you for your question. Based on your description you have a 600 series model, which would take the RP17451 knob handle. The knob handle will fit onto an RP212 ball assembly. http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp17451.html Best regards, Jon

Are there replacement lever handles for the RP70 ball assembly style shower valve?

If so, can you tell me a replacement part number that would work?
Asked by: Absco
Hi Absco, Thank you for your feedback! The 600 series you described has been discontinued. Currently we carry just the RP17443 lever for the 600 series. Best regards, Brandis

Is there more than one type of ball used in Delta single handle kitchen faucets? I have 400 with sprayer, installed in 1990's. Most recently put in kit with #70 ball, now won't quite shut off all the way. Old ball had extra hole not in #70.

Asked by: Dennis49
Hello Dennis, Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, the ball assembly RP70 was the only ball manufactured for our older Delta single handle kitchen faucets. If your faucet is leaking, you would need to replace the RP4993 seats/springs. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/100_400_70701__Rev_B.pdf Best regards, Tanya
