Isolation sapcer Part RP71506
My Delta touch faucet was turning on and off by itself. I called Delta and they sent me this piece to solve the problem. HOWEVER as I and several other people have mentioned in their reviews, it does not come with instructions on how to place piece plus the answer that Delta gives under these reviews is very unclear (though clear to the Delta person who wrote it). All they need to do is include a photo or two and we will hopefully be able to place it. Thanks

No instructions
Received this part after dealing with DELTA for 12 months regarding my Delta TRINSIC Touch20 faucet. Part came quickly after finally speaking with customer service rep. Problem is....no instructions included in packaging.

On model 19933t-sd-dst, where does the Isolation Spacer go?

Our Delta Faucet TRINSIC® Trinsic® Isolation Spacer MODEL#: RP71506 is inserted through the mounting shank, under the sink. It will rest directly under the spout. Next, install the mounting nut and washer under the spacer. Use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the nuts, to secure the faucet to the countertop.

Just received part # RP71506 (Isolation Spacer) for our touch faucet from you. I have no idea where it goes, I see it on the faucet parts diagram, it is near the handle assembly but does not show where it is supposed to go. Are there instructions for it?

The spacer is inserted through the mounting shank, under the sink. It will rest directly under the spout. Next, install the mounting nut and washer under the spacer. Use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the nuts, to secure the faucet to the countertop.

Why would you need to install the isolation spacer for a Delta 9183T-AR-DST faucet?
Hi Isolation Spacer!
Thanks for the question. On the 9183T-AR-DST faucet the mounting bracket and plastic base act as a spacer. You would use the Isolation Spacer, RP71506 if you had a cast iron sink.
The spacer keeps the shank from touching the sink as it will cause interference with the touch feature of the faucet. When this happens the touch feature of the faucet will either not work, or the faucet will turn on and off with no notice. Please contact us back if you have any further questions.

Hello, What is the difference in part #RP71506 (Spacer-Isolation) and RP100167 (Spacer)? Where do you mount them? Faucet Model #DEL9159T-AR. Thanks!
