Delta Kitchen Sink Soap Dispenser
I am using the Delta Cassidy 3 1/2" soap dispenser for liquid dish soap. It matches my kitchen faucet, RO faucet and Elkay sink. The first time I filled it from the top (as instructed) the soap overflowed onto my countertop when I placed the faucet back in the soap container.

Nice feature and eliminates one more item on my counter.
Excellent option if you had an older faucet with a separate sprayer. The new faucet we purchased had the sprayer within the faucet. I would be left with an empty hole in the sink so I opted for this soap dispenser. I like having one less item on my countertop. The only "con" is that you really have to get under the sink in an awkward position to remove and refill the bottle. Hopefully I won't have to do this too frequently. It seems as though the bottle holds quite a bit of soap. In a few more years I may not be able to do it, but for now I am very happy with this feature.

My soap dispenser.
The soap dispenser is one of the best things I added to my kitchen sink. No more unsightly bottle of soap that's constantly in the way or gets knocked over to make a mess. A simple to use little gadget that makes clean up a breeze. No more looking for the soap bottle when all ya have to do is push the dispenser and go to work.

Nozzle a little too short
Dispenser works fine but the short nozzle doesn't extend far enough over the edge of the sink for easy dripless use. Unable to mount closer to the edge because the bottle gets in the way underneath.

Plastic - Seems Cheap
I was disappointed by how lightweight this soap is dispenser - plastic. At this point the finish (oil-rubbed bronze) looks good, but I would be concerned that would rub off with much use. Over the years I have tried many different soap dispensers and they all break down quickly, some in less than a year. Therefore, my only reason for installing this item is cosmetic - it will look nicer than some sort of plug filling a hole in my granite counter top.

Soap Dispenser Failure
After 4 years the soap dispenser has done what many other reviewers wrote about - it stuck and won't dispense soap. Hate the bottle of detergent on my counter! Called the 800 number and spoke w/ Brandy. She found the model # for me and requested a warranty replacement to be sent out to me immediately! WOW! Talk about customer service. I am most impressed. Works perfectly!

Had to cover a hole in our sink and this was the perfect solution. And using it as a lotion dispenser works great. After washing or just cleaning up real handy to just get a little hand lotion to make you feel good.

Thank you for your question, Lori! The soap bottle can be filled from above the sink. Simply pull off the head and pump assembly and use a vented funnel to add soap or lotion.

Can I use foam soap in the Cassidy counter soap dispenser?
Thank you for your question, Melody! The RP71543 soap dispenser can be used with liquid dish soap, liquid hand soap, alcohol based hand-sanitizer,and even typical hand lotions. Foaming soap will pump from the soap dispenser but it will not foam.

I have 3 of these dispensers and the pump went out on 2 of them. Can I buy the pump separately? What is the part number?

Does this come in brushed nickel?

Thank you for your question regarding the Delta Soap / Lotion Dispenser and I am happy to help you today.
Unfortunately, we do not offer any soap dispensers in the Brushed Nickel finish at this time and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The closest finishes we currently offer to match the Brushed Nickel finish at this time is the Stainless Steel and Arctic Stainless finish.

The difference between the two finishes is the overall tone. Stainless Steel has more of a gold tone whereas Arctic Stainless has more of a blue tone.

Is a kit available for the kitchen soap dispensers that allows a tube to be inserted directly into a full bottle of hand soap in the cabinet underneath the kitchen sink, thus eliminating the 13 oz soap bottle?

Is the top of the Cassidy Soap/Lotion Dispenser made of metal or plastic?

Will dispenser work with all 3, liquid hand soap, liquid dishwasher soap, hand lotion?

I installed two of the RP71543AR soap/lotion dispensers about 8 years ago. The one we use for liquid dish washing soap (similar to Palmolive) works fine. The one we use for hand soap has stiffened up and does not pump properly.
