RESEÑAS
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible quality DO NOT BUY I’m incredibly disappointed with the quality and design of this product. It’s over-engineered in all the worst ways. The small handles may look sleek, but the internal design is a nightmare. I expected better from Delta. This level of complexity and complete lack of repairability is unacceptable. It feels like Delta intentionally created an overly complicated valve system just to ensure constant replacements. These valves fail every 2–3 years, and at $60 each time, it's a complete rip-off. For a brand with Delta’s reputation, this is disgraceful. I’m upset and expect Delta to stand behind their product and offer to repair or replace it free of charge. Otherwise, I’ll be replacing the entire faucet—with a different brand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Quality part though lacking QC The cartridge seems like a quality part but the manufacturing quality control is lacking. Upon installing the new cartridge I noticed the hole on metal stem was missing threads, all Part seems to be of quality components except that the metal stem was missing threads. This is something that should have been caught during the manufacturing process. Another trip back to the big box store for a good replacement. Fit and operation were fine with the new cartridge. Would have been 4 stars without this added inconvenience.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to install with help The stem on my valve broke in half after 6 years of use. Delta sent me a replacement free of charge. I really appreciated the quick response and overnight shipping of the part. However, some instructions are needed to replace the unit. There is a hole in the stem where the handle is attached with a screw. The hole is not threaded and I thought it was the wrong part, but after sending an email to customer support, I learned the screw taps the threads when you screw it in the hole. This can't be done with the valve installed in the faucet as it requires too much force to start the threads. Once I understood this the valve was replaced and worked as designed. I am very happy with Delta's warranty and their rapid response sending replacement parts.

The RP73000, the hole at the opposite end of the valve, is it threaded? Can't tell by the picture.

Asked by: Herbie1985
Hi Herbie1985, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP73000. The hole in the stem is not tapped. Threads are formed when the screw is installed. This utilizes a self-tapping hex head screw pre-installed in the cartridge stem. Could this part be the reason I more cold water pressure than hot water pressure

Asked by: John
Hello John, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company, I would be happy to help you. Low flow is caused by debris. To remove any debris a flush of the faucet is needed. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Please contact us back if you have any questions or need further assistance. Best Regards, Emma
