Faucet leaks around Escutcheon at Gasket
All 5 faucets at my home are leaking around the escutcheon. Called to request replacement parts - representative couldn't find this part - not helpful. Wondering if a new larger gasket will help, given that this smaller gasket is poorly sized (material cost reduction initiative) and has a known failure mode. If sealant has to be applied as a band-aide, please provide pictorial of how to apply it and which sealant to use. Also, please update your installation manuals, accordingly.

Gasket is insufficient to keep water out
I installed this faucet and loved it until I noticed water dripping from under the sink. After investigating I noticed that any splashing water or sitting water on the sink adjacent to the faucet base leaks under the sink. My other Delta 4" faucets all have a larger gasket that I've never had trouble with. I know the installation looks cleaner with a hidden gasket, but dripping water under the sink is not the intended goal. I plan to caulk the faucet into pace in hopes to solve the problem.

Why did my Delta Victorian 2 handle bathroom faucet come with this when then instructions on the Delta website say its supposed to come with the hard plastic RP34347 gasket?

Thank you for your question regarding Delta Faucet RP73814! We apologize this information was not readily available to you, we are happy to assist you!
The Victorian faucet 25955LF comes with RP34347 and the 2555-DST will come with RP73814. Both gaskets are used the same way and have the same durability. For extra sealing, please use a small bead of clear silicone around the base of the faucet.
