Will this Delta Rectangular Aerator, set screw RP75408 reduce GPM to .5 when combined with the Ara single handle lavatory faucet less pop up 567LF-PU

Asked by: jla_design
Dear Jla_design, Thank you for your question. The Delta Rectangular Aerator, Set Screw RP75408 already comes with the Ara Lavatory 567LF-LPU faucet. To reduce the flow rate to .5 GPM @ 60 PSI, you would just need the Delta Flow Restrictor RP73837, installed in the valve. Please review the below Parts diagram for this faucet. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-L-567LF.pdf Best regards, Tanya

Is there a replacement aerator for the Delta 567LF bathroom faucet that actually makes the water "bubbly"?

Installed as shipped, the water pours out as if from an open hole and makes quite a splash.
Asked by: Bruce
Thank you for your question, Bruce. Unfortunately, we do not have an aerator for this faucet. It may help to reduce splashing by partially closing the shut-off valves below the sink. Best regards, Jon

In previous reviews the rectangular aerator can be removed by hand, yet in other reviews I see an image of a j-hook device to pull the aerator out. I just can't seem to remove this by hand. Do I release with the set screws? what tool wrench?

Asked by: Carol
Thank you for your question, Carol! Models that used the RP75408 stream Straightener applies to units manufactured before 10/24/2016 and could be removed using the included J-shaped tool after removing the set screw. Current models use the RP90059 stream straightener which is not intended for removal, but can be cleaned by soaking it using a cloth saturated with a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution. Debris will typically get caught in the Flow restrictor first so this part rarely needs removed. Please feel free to contact us directly if you need further assistance finding the correct part. Best regards, Edward
