With the nut or ring removed, the cartridge should pull straight out of the valve. If mineral deposits are holding it in place, we recommend soaking the area with 50/50 white vinegar and water. Recommended maintenance for leaking under the handle is to remove the handle and the bonnet cap, then ensure the bonnet nut is tight. If the leak persists, we recommend changing the cartridge.
