Hi donald, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP78876. To replace the cartridge, first remove the handle and the finished cap. With the water supply off, unscrew the bonnet nut and pull the cartridge straight out of the valve. When reinstalling parts, make sure the bonnet is securely tightened with a wrench.
