Is there a way to tighten the handle on this faucet handle? We can’t find the right tool to tighten the set screw.

Why does the set screw loosen so easily? Why can't I buy separate replacement screws and not pay $58 for a full replacement? Why is the screw inadequately sized for valve stem? Why does the metal housing break with proper tightening? (poor quality)

I need a new set of set screw (RP72998) to replace the current one, which is worn out. However, I can't seem to order those on the site. Can you help me with that?
