Is the aerator (RP90059) on my 3567-MPU-DST removable? There are multiple Q/A that state it is not removable. If it is replaceable please detail how it is removed. If it is not why do you sell one?

Asked by: Tim1
Hi Tim1, thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Yes, the aerator is removable. Please note you will need needle-nose pliers and another aerator before removing. To remove it, place the needle-nose pliers in the center of the aerator and pull straight down. Wiggling could break the connection, so please be gentle. If you need to clean the aerator, you can use a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water and a soft toothbrush to brush any debris/buildup out of the area. You can also soak it for a few hours by putting some 50/50 in a sandwich bag and tying it around the spout to allow the fumes to break down the debris/buildup. Please reach out with further questions! Best Regards, Kyra Digital Communications Specialist

We have ARA widespread faucets and bought RP90059 to replace units that seem clogged by not flushing lines by plumber when installing. It's not possible to remove these by needle nose pliers and simply pulling them down and out. Pls provide details.

Hi Valued Customer, Thank you for reaching out to Delta Faucet Company! We also recommend a small hook. Please try first soaking the area with 50/50 white vinegar and water without removing the aerator, to help remove mineral deposits. Clean the flow restrictor located in the inlet tube below the sink. Please feel free to contact us directly for technical information at 800-345-3358. Asked by: Lonnie Smith
Hi Lonnie, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP90059. The aerator is held in place with friction but may be difficult to remove without damaging it. Needle-nosed pliers or a small hook can be used to work it out. I recommend first soaking the area with 50/50 white vinegar and water without removing the aerator, to help remove mineral deposits. Is there video instructions on removing the Delta ARA RP90059 aerator. Please link me if you have them

Asked by: Patrick
Hello Valued Customer, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company! The aerator is not designed to be removed from the spout as any debris large enough to get caught will be trapped by the flow restrictor first. The flow restrictor is inside the valve below the cartridge and can be removed with a pair of needle nose pliers. The How-To video linked below will show you how to remove the cartridge. https://www.deltafaucet.com/video-gallery/video-page-1?videoId=wWM-HK3si5k The bottom of the aerator can be cleaned by soaking it using a cloth saturated with a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution. The water stream from my Detla ARA faucet is horrible and is obviously not how the faucet was designed. I tried removing the aerator by removing the 2 set screws but the assembly is attached to a tuber inside the faucet. What can I do to fix the stream?

Asked by: Craig
Hello Craig, Thank you for your question! We apologize for the flow issue you are experiencing. We know this can be frustrating to deal with and will be happy to help you. Flow trouble with the Delta Faucet Ara® Single Handle Channel Bathroom Faucet is typically caused by the debris. We recommend flushing your faucet and cleaning the flow restrictor. To do this follow the instructions below: SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLIES. Remove handle and pull off trim cap. Remove bonnet nut. Remove valve cartridge Remove adapter using long nose pliers. Remove flow regulator using an o-ring pick or similar tool. Clean any debris from inside surfaces of the flow regulator. When reinstalling parts, make sure the bonnet nut is tightened securely with a wrench. Refer to STEP 3 of installation instructions to flush debris at the outlet. I have attached the link below. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/106357%20Rev%20C.pdf Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We look forward to continuing to serve you. Please feel free to contact us back for further assistance. Best Regards, Kelley
