Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad design; disappointed This part failed after a couple of years. This was a very expensive faucet and I'm really disappointed. I guess I'll start buying two at a time now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Delta Trinsic faucet part replacement Unfortunately I had to replace this part after 1 year and 3 months on a $500.00 kitchen faucet. Delta sends an electronic standard response with regard to reviews on their website that basically states “we’re sorry”. The part is plastic and should have been designed in metal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Re: My Review for RP90234 Agree with other reviews. I purchased the Trinsic Faucet less than 2 years ago and the part has failed. I just ordered a replacement part. Poor quality design. I have been told over the years by plumbers to only get Delta products because of their longevity. I am not convinced.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I agree with Thomas Thomas is 100% right. Classic example of a super expensive product failing because of a plastic part. Frank, although the "friction spacer" was not designed to support the weight of the faucet handle, when the nozzle is released from the magnetic catch, that's exactly what it is doing. So clearly, yes, it was not designed to be weight-bearing, which is why it fails. Inexcusable for a faucet that cost several hundred dollars. Poor design.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Well... You will need this part every one-two years, if you have a Trinsic faucet. While it is fairly easy to replace (you do need to crawl under the sink to disconnect the hose line), the part is an absolutely terrible design. There are 10 plastic nubs that must support the faucet whenever the sprayer is pulled out. With the leverage generated, it's only a matter of time before those nubs wear down and the faucet is loose. For a faucet which costs $721 (retail) this part is a joke. Come on Delta, you can do better.
